Ap\u00f3s os primeiros treinos livres para o GP da Inglaterra, a equipe alem\u00e3 reconheceu a boa perspectiva de performance no lend\u00e1rio circuito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais do que pura velocidade e um in\u00edcio de resolu\u00e7\u00e3o dos muitos problemas do W13, a Mercedes se baseia no bom ritmo de corrida apresentado nas simula\u00e7\u00f5es feitas durante as sess\u00f5es de sexta-feira para justificar o sentimento de esperan\u00e7a. George Russell que o diga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Quando fizemos as simula\u00e7\u00f5es, vimos que nosso ritmo de corrida \u00e9 muito superior ao ritmo de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Vimos a McLaren muito forte em velocidade de volta. N\u00e3o conseguimos fazer os pneus funcionarem no ritmo de uma volta, mas achamos que na dura\u00e7\u00e3o de corrida, estaremos com uma janela ideal. \u00c9, obviamente, sempre um balan\u00e7o. Afinal, com o tanque vazio, o brit\u00e2nico n\u00e3o v\u00ea com bons olhos o desempenho da Mercedes &#8211; o que explica a falta de velocidade no ritmo de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Al\u00e9m disso, mesmo sem os quiques na reta principal, o W13 ainda balan\u00e7a devido \u00e0 rigidez &#8211; algo que as Flechas de Prata precisam se atentar, principalmente em Silverstone, como avaliou o piloto brit\u00e2nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Tive dificuldades com o tanque mais vazio, principalmente em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com Lewis (Hamilton), que teve uma volta muito boa. Com o tanque cheio, (W13) definitivamente mostrou-se mais promissor, comparando com a McLaren &#8211; que tamb\u00e9m estava de pneus duros, como n\u00f3s. Fui mais r\u00e1pido e, no fim, com os pneus j\u00e1 aquecidos, fomos t\u00e3o r\u00e1pidos quanto a Ferrari.
