O espanhol da Ganassi venceu o GP de Portland e reassumiu o posto que ocupava antes da batida sofrida em Gateway, abrindo 25 pontos de vantagem para Pato O&#8217;Ward com duas corridas restantes para o fim do campeonato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em entrevista \u00e0 NBCSN ap\u00f3s a corrida, Palou <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandepremio.com\/br\/indy\/noticias\/confusao-largada-helio-castroneves-romain-grosjean-disputa-gp-portland\/\">falou sobre a escapada<\/a> na primeira curva na largada e como se manteve focado para conquistar o terceiro triunfo no ano, depois de ter vencido os GPs do Alabama e Elkhart Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Eu n\u00e3o sei o que a Indy estava pensando para tentar evitar um acidente e nos colocar no fundo, mas mantivemos cabe\u00e7a baixa, sab\u00edamos que a corrida era longa. Mal posso acreditar, o time foi incr\u00edvel, me deram os n\u00fameros e segui. A estrat\u00e9gia foi incr\u00edvel. Muito orgulhoso da Honda, que deu a pot\u00eancia que precis\u00e1vamos.
