O motivo n\u00e3o foi confirmado pelo austr\u00edaco, que fez uma piada em <strong>Xangai <\/strong>sobre a aus\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;\u00c9 uma coincid\u00eancia que eu esteja fora [do GP do Jap\u00e3o] de novo. N\u00e3o \u00e9 sobre o jet lag&#8221;, brincou Wolff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A piada se explica porque Wolff se ausentou do GP do Jap\u00e3o em <strong>2023<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandepremio.com\/br\/f1\/noticias\/toto-wolff-desfalca-mercedes-japao-cirurgia-joelho-jerome-dambrosio-assume-chefia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">devido a uma cirurgia no joelho<\/a>, e foi substitu\u00eddo por <strong>J\u00e9r\u00f4me D&#8217;Ambrosio<\/strong>. No ano passado, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandepremio.com\/br\/f1\/noticias\/chefe-mercedes-toto-wolff-2023-e-se-ausenta-gp-japao\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">novamente anunciou que n\u00e3o iria<\/a> a Suzuka, mas voltou atr\u00e1s da decis\u00e3o em cima da hora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na ocasi\u00e3o, a Mercedes estava seriamente preocupada com o in\u00edcio ruim de temporada, e o chefe explicou que &#8220;n\u00e3o seria certo&#8221; deixar a equipe naquele momento.
