A atividade \u00e9 conhecida por promover mais simula\u00e7\u00f5es de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o em vez de testes de comportamento do carro com v\u00e1cuo e tr\u00e1fego, conforme foi visto nos \u00faltimos dias. O tempo do piloto da <strong>Andretti <\/strong>foi de 38s302.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O dia ficou marcado pelo grande desempenho dos carros da Chevy, em especial a <strong>Penske<\/strong>. <strong>Josef Newgarden <\/strong>teve o terceiro lugar nas voltas r\u00e1pidas, com o melhor tempo em 38s418, mas se destacou pela melhor m\u00e9dia de velocidade no combinado de quatro giros, que ficou em 234.063 mp\/h (376,69 km\/h). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Scott McLaughlin <\/strong>foi o quarto colocado, enquanto <strong>Will Power <\/strong>foi sexto nas voltas r\u00e1pidas. Na marca combinada, ficaram atr\u00e1s apenas de Newgarden. O segundo melhor tempo geral acabou nas m\u00e3os do novato <strong>Kyle Larson<\/strong>, que com a <strong>McLaren<\/strong>, anotou 38s417. Na simula\u00e7\u00e3o de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o, foi apenas 10\u00ba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Alexander Rossi <\/strong>e <strong>Pato O&#8217;Ward <\/strong>comprovaram o bom desempenho do time papaia. A melhor volta do piloto foi em 38s712, que rendeu apenas a 20\u00aa coloca\u00e7\u00e3o na tabela geral. Entre os tempos combinados de quatro voltas, a situa\u00e7\u00e3o foi um pouco melhor, ficando em 14\u00ba. <strong>Pietro Fittipaldi, de RLL<\/strong>, teve o dia encurtado por um problema de motor, e ficou apenas com o 29\u00ba lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atual l\u00edder do campeonato, o espanhol <strong>\u00c1lex Palou<\/strong> teve problemas. O motor Honda da <strong>Ganassi #10 <\/strong>acabou estourando com menos de 3h00 para o fim da Fast Friday. O incidente gerou uma bandeira amarela de 19 minutos. O melhor tempo do piloto foi de 38s826. O hexacampe\u00e3o <strong>Scott Dixon <\/strong>tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o se destacou, ficando apenas no 21\u00ba lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um dos momentos mais impressionantes do dia foi o acidente de <strong>Nolan Siegel<\/strong>, da <strong>Dale Coyne<\/strong>. O novato estava dando voltas r\u00e1pidas por volta de 2h00 de treino quando perdeu o controle do carro na curva 2 e atingiu o muro com for\u00e7a, vendo o carro decolar e capotar. Ele foi levado ao centro m\u00e9dico e liberado. Ao total, foram 15 voltas do piloto americano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As atividades da Indy 500 retornam amanh\u00e3, \u00e0s 09h30, com um curto treino livre antes da sess\u00e3o de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o, que tem in\u00edcio programado para 12h00 (de Bras\u00edlia, GMT-3).
