The identities of most of the 100 drivers tasked with stopping Max Verstappen in Wednesday’s unusual Silverstone karting challenge have been revealed.
Indian gaming creator TechnoGamerz, British streamer Caedrel and Indian esports player Jonathan Amaral are among the names on the entry list for Max vs 100, which will put the four-time Formula 1 world champion against a field of athletes, creators, personalities and fans.
The challenge itself was announced last month. The new development is the composition of the enormous grid Verstappen will have to work through at Silverstone on September 16.
Among the British names are television personality Amber Gill, mountain biker Matt Jones, motorcycle racer Billy Bolt, creator Pieface23 and motorsport presenter Tommo McCluskey.
Professional skateboarder Leticia Bufoni, climbing star Janja Garnbret, decathlon world champion Leo Neugebauer, cliff diver Molly Carlson and NBA shooting coach Chris Matthews, better known as Lethal Shooter, add further sporting backgrounds to the field.

The presence of TechnoGamerz is particularly notable given his enormous online following in India.
Ujjwal Chaurasia, the creator behind the channel, is joined by professional esports player Jonathan Amaral and streamer Shreeman Legend, giving the event significant representation from one of Formula 1’s largest potential growth markets.

Verstappen starts at the back of a field of 101 identical karts and must attempt to work his way through all 100 opponents over a 30-lap challenge on a purpose-built circuit at Silverstone.
The Dutchman acknowledged during the Spanish GP weekend that the sheer size of the field makes the outcome difficult to predict.
“Starting from the back, it’s going to be challenging, but I hope I can catch them all,” Verstappen said.
Rather than selecting 100 professional karters, organisers have deliberately created a mixed field. That means Verstappen will encounter drivers with dramatically different experience and pace while trying to negotiate traffic.
The event takes place on Wednesday, September 16 and will be streamed live globally on Disney+.
