Máximo Quiles is out of the British Grand Prix. Aspar, the Spaniard’s Moto3 team, confirmed via social media that the current lightweight class championship leader suffered a fractured right clavicle and will not compete in the event at Silverstone.
Quiles crashed at Turn 18 of the British layout during Moto3 qualifying. He was on course to complete a flying lap when he lost the rear of his bike and was launched forward at high speed.
Following the incident, marshals displayed yellow flags and the driver was unable to return to action. With his withdrawal now confirmed, he will begin immediate recovery with the aim of returning later this month at Aragon.
Moto3 action resumes at Silverstone this Sunday (8) for the British Grand Prix, round 12 of the 2026 season. GRANDE PRÊMIO will cover all the action throughout the weekend alongside the support categories in the World Championship.
