Scott Dixon and Alexander Rossi collide at Nashville<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alexander Rossi slowed abruptly on the straight as he prepared to enter the pits during the Nashville race. Scott Dixon had little time to react and struck the Ed Carpenter Racing driver from behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was an unusual accident caused by the considerable speed difference between the two cars, leaving Dixon with virtually nowhere to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video class=\"video-js vjs-big-play-centered\" data-gp-vjs=\"1\" controls src=\"https:\/\/grandepremio-portal.b-cdn.net\/2026\/07\/batida-dixon-rossi-nashville.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">(V\u00eddeo: FOX)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Malukas taken to hospital after Nashville practice crash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malukas was also involved in a frightening accident during opening practice in Nashville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was taken to a local hospital for further examinations and initially ruled out of qualifying. Caio Collet crashes out of the Indianapolis 500<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caio Collet was running ninth during the closing stages of the Indianapolis 500 when he lost control and struck the protective barrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The impact caused flames to appear around the Foyt car and brought out the red flag.
