KTM also made an exception and selected Pedro Acosta for the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTo make it clear, the thing is\u2026 I don\u2019t know if I should say this, but I\u2019ll say it anyway: I wanted to do the Austrian test,\u201d Fabio explained. \u201cBut unfortunately, Yamaha doesn\u2019t want me to ride with the Pirelli tires. I wanted to do something, but they won\u2019t let me,\u201d he complained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPersonally, <strong>I don\u2019t want to develop the bike for the 2027 riders<\/strong>. So, if I can improve something for this year, I will,\u201d he stressed. \u201cBut I\u2019m not going to push myself to the limit and behave like a test rider, as I did this weekend,\u201d he fired back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Yamaha rider market situation is also part of a broader reshuffle ahead of the <strong>2027 MotoGP season<\/strong>, when the championship will enter a major new technical era.
