The Invicta driver eventually found his opportunity on the main straight and completed the pass on Lap 9 to take control of the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once in front, D\u00fcrksen quickly began to pull away. He and Bennett moved clear of the rest of the field, while Martinius Stenshorne settled into 3rd, around 4 seconds behind the leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u00fcrksen continued to show strong pace in the middle stages. On Lap 13, while managing a 0.6-second advantage over Bennett, he set the fastest lap of the race with a <strong>1:33.643<\/strong>. He improved again the following lap, recording a 1:33.616.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second Safety Car was triggered with 5 laps remaining.
