Lewis Hamilton refused to direct criticism at Ferrari\u2019s employees after the Italian Grand Prix but called for changes in the way the team operates and communicates, particularly after his clash with Charles Leclerc at Monza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamilton started fourth and went down the inside at Turn 1, remaining alongside Leclerc through the second part of the chicane. Contact with his teammate sent the Briton into the gravel and cost him several positions. Hamilton recovered to finish sixth, but Ferrari once again failed to challenge Mercedes for victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident added to a difficult home race for Ferrari, with Leclerc later retiring after a heavy crash. Hamilton had already criticized the team\u2019s driver management after the clash, saying that Ferrari needed to address its approach. “Ultimately, it comes from the top. It trickles down. The decisions start with Fred [Vasseur, Ferrari team principal]. There\u2019s a limit to what you can say, how much you can push and demand. We have to continue to move forward,” Hamilton said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“On Saturday, I said we need to look at the way we communicate. If we continue to go down the same path, we\u2019ll have the same result. We continue to have the same result. We need to change things because this isn\u2019t helping us move forward,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O brit\u00e2nico afirmou que pretende discutir internamente as mudan\u00e7as necess\u00e1rias ap\u00f3s a pr\u00f3xima etapa e ressaltou que o problema n\u00e3o est\u00e1 na dedica\u00e7\u00e3o dos funcion\u00e1rios da f\u00e1brica.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“O pessoal da f\u00e1brica est\u00e1 fazendo um \u00f3timo trabalho. N\u00e3o estamos executando as coisas da maneira mais limpa poss\u00edvel, normalmente n\u00e3o t\u00e3o bem quanto as outras equipes. Mas, em alguns momentos da temporada, n\u00f3s est\u00e1vamos”, avaliou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por fim, o #44 tamb\u00e9m fez quest\u00e3o de evitar uma escalada p\u00fablica de cr\u00edticas aos integrantes da escuderia. <\/strong>Segundo ele, os funcion\u00e1rios n\u00e3o deveriam ser responsabilizados individualmente pelos problemas enfrentados pela equipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Sei o que voc\u00eas est\u00e3o tentando fazer. N\u00e3o quero entrar em discuss\u00f5es e brigas sobre a minha equipe. No fim das contas, estou dando o meu m\u00e1ximo para fazer esta equipe e ajud\u00e1-la a chegar onde precisa estar”, pontuou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“N\u00e3o fomos t\u00e3o bem. J\u00e1 \u00e9 doloroso o suficiente, n\u00e3o quero ficar pressionando e cobrando os meus caras. Eles v\u00e3o para casa, para as fam\u00edlias deles. Est\u00e3o trabalhando muito, muito duro”, concluiu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
