Michelin is expected to bring a comparable rear construction to Mandalika because the Indonesian circuit\u2019s layout and loading characteristics demand additional tyre resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gresini rider expects the problem to remain, particularly because Mandalika offers more grip than the Red Bull Ring. Ducati must therefore understand why the Desmosedici struggled to convert the tyre\u2019s available grip into acceleration before the championship reaches Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is still evidence that the motorcycle can be competitive there. Ferm\u00edn Aldeguer won the 2025 Indonesian GP, while M\u00e1rquez reached the podium. Aprilia was already particularly strong at Mandalika, however, with Bezzecchi demonstrating front-running speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00e1rquez said Ducati would work extensively on the weakness before the Indonesian round but accepted that Aprilia\u2019s current level would make the weekend difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Austria reduced Ducati\u2019s constructors\u2019 championship position further. <a href=\"https:\/\/grandepremio.com\/en\/motogp\/martin-extends-motogp-lead-over-marquez-after-austrian-gp-as-aprilia-takes-control\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\">Aprilia now leads Ducati by 10 points<\/a> after placing three motorcycles inside the top four at Spielberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e1rquez accepts responsibility for Austrian crash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00e1rquez did not attribute his Austrian GP retirement directly to the tyre.
