The Dutchman was leading in the closing laps, but appeared to be an easy target for Jake Dennis, who was charging from behind in Attack Mode to make the pass. However, the race was red-flagged due to a crash between Edoardo Mortara and Joel Eriksson, neutralizing the Briton’s extra power. On the restart, the Mahindra driver managed to hold his position to seal the win. Citroën’s Nick Cassidy and Dennis rounded out the podium just behind.

Oliver Rowland and Jean-Éric Vergne completed the top five. Norman Nato, Sébastien Buemi, Nico Müller, Taylor Barnard, and Maximilian Günther closed out the top ten, all scoring points in Sunday’s race.

Felipe Drugovich didn’t have the same charge through the field as Dennis, but still made good progress. After starting 18th, he managed to reach the top ten in the closing stages. However, he exceeded the speed limit under yellow flags and was handed a 5-second penalty, dropping him to 11th.

Lucas Di Grassi also had a solid performance on Sunday. The Lola Yamaha driver lacked the pace to fight for points, but managed to cross the line in 13th after starting 19th.

Formula E returns from August 15–16 for the 2025/26 season finale: the London E-Prix double-header.

POS

Driver

Tem

Dif

1

N DE VRIES

Mahindra

34 voltas

2

N CASSIDY

Citroën

+0.683

3

J DENNIS

Andretti

+0.958

4

O ROWLAND

Nissan

+2.662

5

J.E VERGNE

Citroën

+2.960

6

N NATO

Nissan

+3.430

7

S BUEMI

Envision

+3.799

8

N MÜLLER

Porsche

+4.194

9

T BARNARD

DS Penske

+4.702

10

M GÜNTHER

DS Penske

+5.140

11

F DRUGOVICH

Andretti

+5.604

12

Z MALONEY

Lola Yamaha

+6.049

13

L DI GRASSI

Lola Yamaha

+6.349

14

D TICKTUM

Cupra Kiro

+6.826

15

P WEHRLEIN

Porsche

+8.375

16

A.F DA COSTA

Jaguar

+8.353

17

M EVANS

Jaguar

Abandonou

18

E MORTARA

Mahindra

Abandonou

19

J ERIKSSON

Envision

Abandonou

20

J MARTÍ

Cupra Kiro

Abandonou

Nyck de Vries benefited from a red flag caused by a collision between Edoardo Mortara and Joel Eriksson to claim victory in Race 2 of the Tokyo E-Prix.

{"42wp_featured_image_caption":"Nyck de Vries won Race 2 of the Tokyo E-Prix.","42wp_featured_image_credits":"Fórmula E","42wp_featured_video":"","42wp_featured_image_hidden":false,"42wp_authors_list":[

39
142,119],"42wp_author":[
post-381","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-formula-e","tag-nyck-de-vries","tag-tokyo-e-prix
["GET
