According to Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1 \/ Liberty Media, talks are making progress to bring a Grand Prix back to the country, which has not hosted a World Championship race since 1993.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the statement, the executive did not offer a specific timeline for when the Kyalami circuit might reclaim a spot on the schedule. Furthermore, he explained that other venues are also interested in hosting F1 races and that this will happen down the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat I can say is that negotiations are progressing very well in Africa. In fact, I often forget\u2014because things are happening so fast\u2014that next year we have Portugal back and Turkey back, which are new additions. So, again, other places will host a GP in the future,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, the Italian revealed ongoing conversations in the Far East beyond the Japanese and Chinese Grands Prix.
