Marc M\u00e1rquez revealed that, owing to his age and numerous injuries, he now has far less free time than he did five years ago. The Spaniard detailed his training program and admitted that he has learned to “live with pain.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e1rquez has always been a rider prone to crashes, but since 2020, he has suffered the most severe injuries of his career. The worst was the fracture to his right humerus, which required four surgeries. Late last year, the #93 injured his right arm once again, which demanded further surgical procedures and added to his scars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Up until five years ago, I used to have some free time,” Marc recalled in an interview with the Soy Blanc<\/em> YouTube channel. “I would train and then rest. But now, I have very little.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Because I’ve had so many injuries, I do one cardio session, a strength training session, then recovery work, and an additional specific session tailored for my right arm,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The eight-time world champion recognized that remaining at the top level requires making sacrifices to stay race-fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As an athlete, as you get older and deal with injuries, you have to live with the pain,” he acknowledged. “You can’t complain all the time, or you’d spend all day on the physio table,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Marc shared that because of the fracture sustained in his Jerez crash, he can no longer sleep on his right side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I can’t sleep lying on my right side because of my arm. It’s completely off-limits for me,” he revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MotoGP now heads into its summer break and will return to action from August 7\u20139 for the British Grand Prix, the 12th round of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
