Los pilotos entrar\u00e1n en el <strong>Sal\u00f3n de la Fama<\/strong> del <strong>Indianapolis Motor Speedway<\/strong> como miembros de la promoci\u00f3n de 2024. Fueron elegidos entre 14 nombres elegidos en una votaci\u00f3n en la que participaron 150 periodistas, miembros del Sal\u00f3n e historiadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Es un honor para m\u00ed formar parte del Sal\u00f3n de la Fama del IMS. Gan\u00f3 la temporada 2004 de <strong>IndyCar<\/strong> y las <strong>500 Millas de Indian\u00e1polis<\/strong> en 2013, cuando adelant\u00f3 a <strong>Ryan Hunter-Reay<\/strong> en la vuelta 197 de la carrera con bandera amarilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Montoya, por su parte, tiene dos victorias en Indian\u00e1polis: gan\u00f3 en 2000 como novato, liderando 167 de las 200 vueltas, as\u00ed como un triunfo en 2015, superando a<strong> Will Power<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n fue campe\u00f3n de la <strong>IndyCar <\/strong>en 1999, adem\u00e1s de tener una carrera de siete temporadas en la <strong>F\u00f3rmula 1<\/strong>, con siete victorias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La ceremonia de ingreso de Kanaan y Montoya en el <strong>Sal\u00f3n de la Fama<\/strong> tendr\u00e1 lugar el 23 de mayo en el <strong>Indiana Roof Ballroom<\/strong>. Junto a ellos estar\u00e1 <strong>Mark Miles<\/strong>, actual presidente de Penske Entertainment Corp.
