Pramac Team Manager Gino Borsoi issued a warning on social media regarding a scam targeting the MotoGP paddock. According to the team boss, fraudsters are using his identity to offer access passes and credentials for World Championship events in exchange for money.
The manager overseeing the team featuring Jack Miller and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu made a point of clarifying on social media that he has no connection whatsoever to the scheme.
“I was informed that some people are contacting others using my name, offering access and passes for MotoGP races in exchange for money. It’s not me. It’s a scam,” wrote Borsoi.
The official also urged anyone approached in this manner to ignore the messages or offers made under his name. “Please do not trust anyone who contacts you in my name with this type of request,” he added.
The warning serves as an alert for fans and individuals seeking access to the MotoGP paddock, particularly as scammers attempt to leverage the names of prominent championship figures for illicit financial gain. Despite issuing the warning, Borsoi did not confirm whether he has filed an official police report for an investigation.
The warning comes as paddock news develops across the motorcycle world championship ahead of Round 13, following Fermín Aldeguer completing a Ducati track test to accelerate his recovery for Aragón, Max Verstappen revealing retirement thoughts before extending with Red Bull through 2030, and how the provisional 2027 F1 driver grid stands.
MotoGP resumes track action from August 28 to 30 for the Aragón GP, the 13th round of the 2026 season. GRANDE PRÊMIO is covering all weekend activities across all World Championship classes.
