Nissan has officially finalized its driver lineup for the 2026/27 Formula E World Championship, signaling the grand debut of the all-new Gen4 regulations. The Japanese manufacturer signed Barbadian driver Zane Maloney to replace Norman Nato, pairing the former Formula 2 standout with 2024/25 World Champion Oliver Rowland.
Maloney makes the transition to Nissan following a two-season stint alongside Lucas di Grassi at Lola Yamaha ABT. After accumulating high-downforce experience in junior single-seaters, the 22-year-old takes a significant step forward by securing a seat with a top-tier factory team.
“I’m really excited to be joining Nissan. When I arrived in Formula E, the team was winning the championship with Oli, and now they’ve given me a massive opportunity to join a top-tier manufacturer,” Maloney celebrated.
